In 2023, NBC moved its flagship-owned station, WNBC, into a new set and tapped The Lighting Design Group to create an enhanced and refreshed visual broadcast identity. LDG’s Niel Galen, Hannah Zucker, and Evan Cope took an innovative approach to the lighting scheme, highlighting the modern elements of the set while promoting flexibility for a variety of programming needs.
