Niel Galen is a Senior Lighting Designer whose recent clients include MS Now, The PGA Tour, NFL Network, NBC News, NBC Sports, Turner Sports and NewsMax. Niel’s earliest memory of light is watching the streetlights dancing through the cracked rear windshield of his educator parents’ VW Rabbit as they drove by night from one national park to the next. Eventually, Niel parlayed his interest in light, broken glass and VWs into a societally accepted job of lighting for television. 30 years after joining LDG, he still finds himself on the road from jail houses to St Peter’s Square and all over this planet lighting the famous and infamous…and occasionally playing with broken glass.
